What's happened in 2025

The season started with a "lift in" at the start of April, and some fine weather was enjoyed. We had some cracking sunsets, a couple of pretty desperate storms at the back end of the season. Storm Amy necessitated a decant to Davy's caravan at Orchard cottage for the night. The storm was forecast to peak at 19:30 which is Dougal walk time, we went down to the marina to have a look. It was hard enough to walk let alone use a dinghy. Shard was yawing on her mooring with the toe rail on the waterline at times.

We tried the fridge out this year, it worked fine early on the summer with lots of sun for the solar panel, less so later in the season. Our guests outside immediate family included, Des with a couple of pals (twice) Lucy and Andrew and Meg and Ross. Ross brought his drone and you can see some of the footage in the video.

We never got very far afield but then, Linnhe Marine is a great place to hang out, with the Old Inn just a short walk away. A wee video with some highlights here.
